ADUCAT (Actionable Data Space for Urban Climate Adaptation and related socio-ecological, local Transformation) leverages satellite data from the EU Copernicus programme, combined with artificial intelligence and machine learning, to create data-driven solutions for urban challenges. Over 3.5 years, the project develops concrete applications in infrastructure safety, vegetation and green space monitoring, and high-resolution temperature forecasting. Anchored in Vienna’s Digital Agenda and Smart Climate City Strategy, ADUCAT demonstrates how innovative technologies can be responsibly applied for public benefit. By integrating actionable data into planning and decision-making, the project strengthens climate resilience, supports sustainable urban development, and enhances quality of life.
