2023 Prato – Costs and benefits of the urban mobility transition in European cities
EIT Urban Mobility invites Major Cities of Europe participants to join the discussion on the technological and regulatory implications of the transition to sustainable urban mobility in European cities to meet the Green Deal objectives, and to explore the costs and benefits the transition will create for cities and citizens.
In this session, you will learn about the CO2 reduction potential and the deployment costs of a range of mobility measures supporting cities in their mobility decarbonisation efforts. For different types of cities in various geography, EIT Urban Mobility simulated the most effective mobility policies to reduce CO2 emissions in line with the Green Deal objectives.
