Rainer Kegel

Biography
Rainer Kegel studied and worked at the Vienna university of economics and business administration.
After his final degree and several occupational stops, he joined Wien Energie (utility), a part of the Wiener Stadtwerke Group in 2009.
2015 he changed to the parent company as Group CIO. His main focus is on new topics like Data Science (incl. all related topics) and the Internet of Things with the goal to optimize the infrastructure of Vienna and make it smarter.
