He has been Director of planning, organization and IT and for many years Head of IT & Communications of the Municipality of Heraklion. He is also the Director of the center for the promotion of democratic dialogue, entrepreneurship and innovation “DIMOSKOPIO” of the Municipality of Heraklion.

He has worked at the Port Authority of Heraklion and the TEI of Crete.

In particular, he has dealt with the concept of the “smart city” and the digital transformation of local societies

In 2009, he created the website http://www.citybranding.gr that presents urban planning issues and how the identity, image and position of cities are formed in the international competitive market.

He has been a member of many policy planning committees such as the Regional Innovation Council of the Region of Crete, the Electronic Government Committee of KEDE, the Ministry of the Interior, the SEV, etc.
