Michael Panayiotis

Dr. Panayiotis Michael has received his PhD in Computer Science and his MBA from the University of California Los Angeles.

He is responsible for the technical coordination of the Horizon 2020 project ‘PolicyCLOUD’ (project coordination ATOS Spain), representing the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems of the National Technical University of Athens – team of Professor Panayiotis Tsanakas.

Dr. Michael is the author of multiple scientific publications including the work ‘Architectural Principles of the Streamonas Data Stream Management System’.

He is currently doing research in the field of real-time data stream processing over the High Performance Computing Infrastructure of Greece ARIS-GRNET and he has extensive experience in advising public authorities in the thematic of Smart Cities.”
