Kim YoungSik

Young-Sik Kim has over 40 years of ICT & e-Government consulting experiences in private sector, academy and government organizations in many countries. Currently, he is a Senior Associate Expert in UNU-EGOV and also engaged to Digital Government Project in Kyrgyzstan, Central Asia and Nigeria, West Africa through KOICA, Korean Government ODA Agency.

He was a visiting Professor in KAIST ITTP program and Chungbuk National University GLOMIS program, where he is teaching Digital Government, Smart City, ICT Industry policy topics to international students, mainly government officials from developing countries in Korea.

He have served IBM for 23 years as Systems Engineer, Project Manager, QA Manager and Outsourcing Executive. Also served Korea Navy as Electronic Officer. He have completed Joint Master-Ph.D courses of Information and Telecommunication Engineering  in Korea Aerospace University in Seoul, Korea.
