Biography

Gabriella, an Industrial Engineer, transitioned from a 6-year career as a Project Manager in multinational profit sector companies (including food, automation, packaging, and pharmaceuticals) to a path focused on social impact. Her journey includes volunteering in Ghana and Kenya to empower women entrepreneurs, pursuing master’s degrees in Fundraising Management and Euro Project Management, and working as an Industrial Liaison Officer at the University of Bologna to bridge academia and industry.

In 2020, she became an EU Project Manager in Lebanon, concentrating on energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. In 2021, she founded Green Growth Generation, a nonprofit platform fostering environmental, social, and economic sustainability through community connections.

Over the last three years, Gabriella engaged with the EIT Food Community, enhancing her knowledge of the food sector, circularity, and sustainability. Therefore she launched Farm2Fork Lab a pioneering initiative that connects small-scale producers, chefs, food experts, and consumers. This endeavor demonstrates her dedication to fostering collaboration within the food ecosystem and furthering her commitment to sustainability and innovation in the food industry.

Currently, Gabriella is in the first year of her PhD program in Business and Management at the University of Turin under the guidance of Professors De Bernardi and Bresciani. Her diverse experiences reflect a commitment to creating positive change and driving social and environmental impact.
