Biography
She graduated in Information Sciences (University of Pisa). She is engaged in analyzing the organizational, technical, social and strategic impact of the digital transformation and of advanced technologies on businesses, universities and public administrations; she is an expert in public and social communication and she is active in technical and strategic consultancy, in the design of courses, in training on innovation issues, with particular attention to the specific issues of the Public Administration (PA).
Her activity in the last 30 years has mainly been carried out in the following macro-sectors (especially in the PA): Digital Transformation, Information and Knowledge Society, Strategies for Innovation, New technologies and new media, Digital Agenda, Open Government, Open Data, Smart City, European projects, Project evaluation, Formulation of national and regional regulations on Innovation.
She directed and coordinated public and private R&D structures in the field of technological innovation. She founded and directed associations focusing on digital transformation, she gave birth to the Parliamentary Intergroup on Innovation and supported it in identifying the proper platform and in coordinating the online consultation about the Law on Sharing Economy.
She is the creator of the WISTER network: Women for Inclusive and Smart TERritories. She organized national and international conferences on innovation and new technologies. She participated as invited speaker at national and international conferences and TedX on strategic innovation and digital transformation.
She participated in European projects and research projects for the application of technologies in the PA.
