Biography
Dr. Borgar Aamaas is a Senior Researcher at CICERO Center for International Climate Research in Oslo, Norway, where he has worked since 2010. He has a PhD in meteorology from the University in Oslo. (He has been a Contributing Author to the IPCC. He is currently a member of the Young Academy of Norway and Global Young Academy, as well as a member of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters’ Committee on climate, energy and biodiversity and Science advice Committee.) He has researched a wide range of topics related to climate change and is regularly giving advice for municipalities on climate change, climate risks, emissions, mitigation, and climate budgeting.
