Biography

Anne-Marie ATLAN is an experienced engineer with over 37 years in IT within a public administration, specializing in project management and leading large teams. Her expertise covers project ownership, project management, public procurement, public finance, law, human resources, and information systems, as well as team management.

  • Wide-ranging skills in IT and management: She is proficient in business processes, change management, project leadership, public procurement negotiations, as well as the fundamentals of public finance, law, and human resources. She also has technical expertise in information systems, cybersecurity, IT systems urbanization, and analytical methods.
  • Notable professional experience: Since 1987, she has held various positions at the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur and the City of Nice, ranging from project manager to deputy director of information systems. She has led projects in digitization, modernization of business processes, crisis management (Covid-19, Storm Alex), and the deployment of video surveillance. As CIO, she is responsible for managing the digital challenges of tomorrow by driving an ambitious and bold roadmap for the administration, aimed at:
  • Strengthening security policies by consolidating infrastructures and securing software to reduce cybersecurity risks and meet the objectives of resilience and sovereignty of the information system,
  • Transforming business processes by providing suitable hardware and software solutions and supporting the use of collaborative tools,
  • Rationalizing the use of digital tools (digitization, email and printing usage) in a context of sobriety, economy, administrative transformation, and increasing technical complexity,
  • Developing “smart territory” projects by implementing operational digital services and urban hypervision solutions, as well as fostering innovation.

Continuous training and communication: She has completed numerous training courses between 1990 and 2024 in project management, cybersecurity, GDPR, AI, and is fluent in several languages, including English. She has also presented various projects at seminars and leads different committees.
