Alessia Scappini

Born in 1974, Alessia Scappini is a chemical engineer and CEO of Revet Spa, a company that collects, selects and recycles the separate waste packaging of 80% of Tuscan citizens. Alessia Scappini boasts a curriculum entirely dedicated to environmental issues, in particular to the management of the waste cycle, gaining significant professional experience in the public utilities sector.
Director of Publiambiente S.p.A. and then of Alia Servizi Ambientali S.p.A, since 2011 she has held positions as CEO in companies thae act in the field of waste management: SEA Ambiente SpA, SEA Risorse SpA of the Municipality of Viareggio and of Alia Servizi Ambientali Spa, she was manager of the environmental services of ATO Toscana Centro, and ALBE for the production of biomethane from organic waste.
She was president of Versilia Ambiente srl, for the management of the undifferentiated waste plant in Versilia, in Valcofert srl she managed the production and marketing of fertilizers and organic soils from separate waste collection.
She was also councillor on the boards of directors of Vetro Revet srl, company that act in the field of glass recovery, and of Programma Ambiente who act for the special waste recovery.
She is a member of the executive council of Utilitalia and Confservizi Cispel Toscana.
