Biography

Stefanie Dreyer is a seasoned TV journalist and presenter with over 15 years of experience in international media. A graduate of the International Journalism Center in Austria and trained in media presentation and economics in Germany, she has worked both behind and in front of the camera for major broadcasters including RTL, NDR, ZDF, and Radio Bremen.

She specializes in digital transformation topics—such as Smart Cities, Big Data, and cybersecurity—and regularly moderates conferences, panel discussions, and hybrid events.

Having lived and worked across the globe—from Japan to Cambodia to Canada—Stefanie brings a global perspective to her work. She is fluent in German and English, has conversational knowledge of French and Japanese, and is currently learning Italian and Spanish.

As a global journalism fellow at the Munk School in Toronto, she collaborated with CBC, the Boston Globe, and the Washington Post. She also serves as Digital Ambassador for Hamburg@work in Canada and advises on event planning and storytelling.
