Philippe Sahjau

Philippe has had an illustrious career at IBM, where held roles such as Vice-President for Smart City, Telecommunications, and Utilities sectors. During his tenure, they initiated the first urban platforms tested in R&D projects in Montpellier and Nice and developed data partnerships with Veolia and ENGIE in water and security. Philippe also served as Deputy Mayor of Nogent-sur-Marne for 12 years, overseeing digital innovation and energy transition. Since 2022, the has been the Director of Smart City, Innovation, and Data for Noisy-le-Grand. Under his leadership, the city won the 2023 Demonstrator of Frugal AI for reducing energy consumption in 200 buildings, the Metropolitan Innovation Districts Award, and gained access to FEDER funds for the city’s digital transformation.
