Luca Francioso

Luca Francioso, a qualified surveyor and by passion (self-taught) approached the world of IT at the age of 13, with his father’s first computers. Today he boasts 30 years of experience spent in network equipment, data centers, rack cabinets, end user support and even covering roles as IT Manager and CIO of important local companies. He focused his specialization as Network and System Administrator. Data protection, identification systems and information security systems have always taken precedence in the IT projects he has created. He has participated in and delivered courses and seminars on Cyber ​​Security and Data Protection.

Always ready to get back into the game, start from a step back and take new and unknown paths. He is co-founder of the company NIS Group srl and deals with Cyber ​​Security, analysis of vulnerabilities, risks and cyber crimes, provision of managed IT services, consultancy and training in Cyber ​​Security. They complete the offer by supporting companies with monitoring systems (S.O.C.).

He is the founder and Chief Operating Officer of the first Cyber ​​Security Laboratory in the city of Prato at the PIN Polo Universitario city of Prato.

Lover of innovation and brilliant ideas, he is a mentor and passionate about developing ideas and businesses for start-ups. His mission? Develop “critical thinking” in people towards the cyber threat. Increase people’s awareness of cyber risk, because, as he claims: “…in the end, clicking on that wrong link or opening a malicious file is always done by us…human beings…weak link in the chain”.
