Biography
Jurgita Skritaite is a Senior Cybersecurity Policy Expert at ENISA, where she leads efforts to enhance cybersecurity in the public administrations sector. As project leader for this sector, she promotes the effective implementation of the NIS2 Directive within national and local government bodies, supporting their alignment with evolving EU cybersecurity requirements. Her work involves assessing cybersecurity maturity and criticality, ensuring public sector entities strengthen their resilience against emerging cyber threats.
Before joining ENISA, Jurgita held senior positions in both the private sector and Lithuanian national authorities. She represented Lithuania’s digital and telecommunications interests at the EU and international level, including during the country’s Presidency of the Council of the EU.
With 20 years of experience in EU regulatory affairs, specializing in digital and technology policy, Jurgita has developed extensive expertise in shaping cybersecurity policies and promoting sectoral resilience.
