Eleni Philippou

Eleni Philippou is a Cybersecurity Expert at ENISA, where she works to strengthen cyber resilience across the EU by supporting Member States and stakeholders in understanding the evolving threat landscape and ensuring effective implementation of cybersecurity policies. Her work involves developing targeted sectorial situational awareness and delivering evidence-based insights into how EU cybersecurity legislation shapes organisational practices and maturity.

Before joining ENISA, Eleni held senior positions in cybersecurity consulting and operations, where she led threat detection and incident response teams, supported clients during active cyber incidents, and built tailored detection capabilities to reduce response times and improve preparedness. She has also contributed to national-level initiatives on sectorial criticality, digital strategy, and alignment with EU cybersecurity requirements.
